I am posting from the pool. I spent most of the morning prepping for trial. It i s only 100 degrees, so I am sure Skychismo scoffs at our heat. But it feels hotter - the air is full of smoke from local fires.

I need a pool and a couple dogs while I’m at it. Thankfully we don’t hit 100 nearly as much as you.
The dogs need a float so they can join you and cool off.

Hot is hot. Fires are the worst. Makes the hot air feel even heavier. Thankfully northern Arizona has been getting hammered with monsoons otherwise they’d be in trouble. Only trouble now is flash flooding/erosion/water pollution on account of the fires from last year and the rainfall this year.
I’m soaking up all the dry heat I can get right now. C ome Wednesday I’ll be backpacking down the Waimea Canyon. Can’t wait for that thick tropical air.
